One year after the Xbox versions, the Kaira and Kaira Pro headsets are coming to PlayStation 5. Razer has made some adjustments for the Sony console and is accompanying them with charging stations for DualSense controllers.
With Black Friday and the holiday season approaching, the PlayStation 5 is arguably one of the most sought-after products. If the shortage of electronic components always complicates the existence of the powerful console, the props manufacturers are on the bridge to offer compatible peripherals. Razer has just announced that it is expanding its line of PlayStation 5 headsets with the launch of a series of new wireless headsets. The Kaira and Kaira Pro join the catalog of the American manufacturer and are specially designed for the latest console from Sony.

The colors of the PS5 are in the spotlight and contrast with the Xbox Series versions of these headsets. Last year, Razer had indeed launched Kaira for Xbox Series X | S and Kaira Pro for Xbox Series X | S in the colors of Microsoft machines. The PlayStation 5 variants are entitled to black and white patterns as well as blue to match the DualSense wireless controller. The manufacturer places particular emphasis on the Kaira Pro which incorporates HyperSense haptic technology to enhance immersion. The headset features 50mm TriForce Titanium transducers and a detachable super-cardioid microphone.
The brand adds a built-in microphone that allows the Kaira Pro to be compatible with mobiles via a Bluetooth connection, in addition to the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC consoles. It is also possible to connect the headset to other devices with a USB-C or USB-A port via an included adapter (Razer HyperSpeed 2.4 GHz USB-C dongle). Finally, Razer adds its Chroma RGB technology and offers to adjust the colors from the Chroma RGB application.

More classic, the Kaira is more accessible and does not have HyperSense technology. However, it is compatible with mobiles thanks to the manufacturer’s SmartSwitch. Razer’s new headsets join the wired Kaira X launched last September.
In addition to the headsets, Razer presented Quick Charging Stands for the DualSense controllers of the PlayStation 5. The company offers its charging stations in white, black and red to match the controllers.
