Samsung has started rolling out the update to One UI 4 (Android 12) on its Galaxy S21 series. In South Korea, a provisional calendar published a little too early allows to know more about the devices concerned.
Google rolled out the stable version of Android 12 on its Pixels on October 19. After this late launch, the question now is when this update will be available on third-party smartphones and tablets. Impatient, Samsung had expressed its willingness to offer the new version of the OS before the end of the year on its smartphones. The South Korean manufacturer, still number 1 in Europe, quickly chained the beta versions so as not to fall behind. It also presented the highlights of its One UI 4 interface at a timid Unpacked event held in October.
True to form, Samsung had not however mentioned the smartphones concerned and the date of deployment of this version based on Android 12. A message published a little too quickly allows us to know more about the intentions of the manufacturer.

The XDA Developers site reports that the South Korean firm seems to have accidentally published a calendar on the Samsung Members app. The post was spotted by Twitter user @FrontTron who posted it on the social network, revealing information about Samsung’s schedule and affected models. However, it should be kept in mind that the dates are subject to change and that the deployment may vary depending on the geographical areas. In South Korea, the S21 series is concerned from this November. It will be followed by a slew of models, such as the folding devices (Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3) or the S20 and Note 20 series launched last year.

The rollout would continue throughout the year on other devices. Note that calendars published in Brazil and the Middle East reveal that the update will arrive at the earliest in December on the Galaxy Z Fold 3. In Europe, we can expect a delay of a few weeks compared to the southern calendar. -Korean. Samsung’s country of origin is traditionally the first to benefit from the brand’s novelties.
