With its Snapdragon 870 SoC, 65W load and adaptive 120Hz display, the Realme GT Neo 2 is ready to shake up the mid-range. Its release in France will be accompanied by the brand’s first tablet.
Sister brand of Oppo and OnePlus, Realme is making rapid progress on the Old Continent. The young brand is already in the top 5 smartphone sellers, just two years after arriving in Europe. A dazzling progression that Realme owes to several of its products such as the Realme 8 Pro and Realme 8 5G (see our overview), the Realme 8i or the Realme GT and the Realme GT Master Edition. This GT series will welcome a new model with the Realme GT Neo 2, a very ambitious mid-range.
Like many Chinese manufacturers before him, Realme wants to appropriate the notion of “flagship killer” with its GT Neo 2. This model will be officially presented on November 15 in Europe, but many characteristics are already known. Indeed, this smartphone is already available on the Chinese market. “Where he crossed the milestone of one million sales”, specifies the brand.

A supercharged mid-range
New flagship of its GT range, it incorporates a SoC Snapdragon 870 5G from Qualcomm that Realme combines with an advanced cooling system. The device also cultivates its gaming orientation (Adreno 650 graphics chip) by integrating 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Realme GT Neo 2 can also count on a large 6.62-inch AMOLED display that promises a peak brightness of 1300 nits. This panel has an adaptive refresh ranging from 30 to 120 Hz depending on the uses, and a sampling rate at 600 Hz.
The manufacturer does not yet focus on the photo part, an element that has been essential for several years. We already know that the smartphone has a triple camera module composed of a main 64 megapixel sensor. It should be paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and a 2-megapixel macro lens. Up front, a 16-megapixel selfie camera is expected.

This promising technical sheet will be completed by a 5000 mAh battery, compatible with SuperDart 65W fast charging. Realme claims a full charge (0-100%) in about 35 minutes.
The Realme Pad will accompany the new Realme flagship
The prices and release date of this “Mid-range with all the flagship features” will be announced on November 15. In the meantime, the brand confirms that its Realme GT Neo 2 will be available in a Neo Green color. On the occasion of this event, the firm will also launch the Realme Pad in France, its first Android tablet. We had already been able to discover it, in September, during its presentation in Asia.
