Acer Vero (AV15) test: a recycled plastic PC that also knows how to perform

If Acer’s Vero range has made a name for itself, it is first and foremost for its eco-responsible positioning. The manufacturer promises that all computers in this family incorporate 30% recycled PCR plastic, come in 100% recyclable packaging and are easy to disassemble and repair. However, in this test, we will rather look at the performance of the Acer Vero AV15. This model offers a 15.6 ″ Full HD screen, an Intel Core i5 processor, 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD. Attractive features on paper. The manufacturer’s technical choices are globally validated by our Lab tests. If the screen disappoints a little on the side of its colorimetry, it remains overall correct elsewhere. And for the rest, the Vero AV15 delivers a great performance, with impeccable performance for occasional gaming, office automation or photo editing. The presence of a 512 GB SSD and 16 GB of RAM makes this Vero a particularly fluid and pleasant computer to use on a daily basis. Finally, it also has a convincing autonomy, with nearly 8:30 in our dedicated test.
