Xiaomi Redmi Note 11: the series switches to charging at 120 W

In China, Xiaomi made the Redmi Note 11, Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro + official. An ambitious new range made up of three smartphones with attractive technical data sheets. Spearhead of the series, the Note 11 Pro + offers the 120 W load inaugurated on the Xiaomi 11T Pro.

First 5G supplier of smartphones in Europe, Xiaomi had made an appointment on October 28 for the presentation of its new Redmi Note 11 series. An ambitious range made up of three smartphones that are the Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro +. Mentioned for several weeks, these three models will first try to impose themselves in China before opening up to other regions, including France.

Faithful to its policy, the Chinese brand once again offers devices with attractive characteristics for a contained price. A well-known recipe for a company that recently launched the Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro in France. This series, and more particularly its Pro variant, seems to have inspired the Redmi Note 11 range.

Spearhead of this new family, the Redmi Note 11 Pro + is indeed entitled to the 120 W charge of the 11T Pro for its 4,500 mAh battery. The manufacturer promises a full charge in 15 minutes.

In addition to its ultra-fast charging, a first for the Redmi series, this model features a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel displaying Full HD + definition (2400 x 1080 pixels). It enjoys a refresh rate of 120 Hz while its punch houses a 16 Mpx front camera. Inside, Xiaomi offers a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chip that offers 5G compatibility and 6 or 8 GB of RAM. The storage varies between 128 and 256 GB, depending on the version chosen.

The manufacturer is indeed determined to make an impression with its Redmi Note 11 Pro +, whose design is reminiscent of that of the new iPhone. On the back, a triple camera is present with a main sensor of 108 Mpx (f / 1.9, Samsung Isocell HM2) supported by an ultra wide-angle of 8 Mpx and a macro lens of 2 Mpx (f / 2.4 ). The device retains a 3.5mm mini-jack and offers Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, in addition to 5G.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro is almost identical to the “+” variant, but it has to be content with a 67 W charge for a 5,160 mAh battery.

Finally, the Redmi Note 11 acts as the gateway to this new range with its 6.6-inch LCD screen (Full HD +), with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Under the hood, it is a little less performing better than its big brothers with its MediaTek Dimensity 810 chip which succeeds the Snapdragon 678 of the Redmi Note 10. It can add 4, 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage. On the photo side, Xiaomi offers a main photo sensor of 50 Mpx and an ultra wide-angle of 8 Mpx, as well as a front camera of 16 Mpx. The 5000 mAh battery is entitled to a 33 W charge and the terminal provides compatibility with 5G and Wi-Fi 5.

Presented in China, these smartphones will be marketed from 1199 yuan (around 160 euros HT) for the Redmi Note 11 and 1799 yuan (around 240 euros HT) for the Redmi Note 11 Pro.
