Hyperactive, Xiaomi has just lifted the veil on the presentation date of its new smartphones. The Redmi Note 11 and Note 11 Pro will be made official on October 28, at the same time as the Redmi Watch 2 connected watch.
Even though Apple has reclaimed second place in the smartphone market, Xiaomi does not lose sight of its goals. The Chinese brand, which dominates head and shoulders in Europe, never misses an opportunity to present new products. The announcements follow one another and just a few weeks after the 11T series, Xiaomi has already scheduled a conference on October 28.
The program leaves little room for suspense, since it will be about new smartphones and a connected watch. The event will take place in China, but, as often with Xiaomi, these novelties should arrive in our regions a few weeks later.
The Redmi Note 11 and Note 11 Pro will be unveiled
Xiaomi shared some images on its Weibo account to confirm the arrival of the Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11 Pro. While the Redmi 10 has been available in France since September, the brand is preparing to take a new step with two models inspired by the Reno 6 (see our handling) or the iPhone 13. The series will indeed adopt new models. flat edges and will keep the famous 3.5mm mini-jack plug.
The first pictures shared by the manufacturer suggest the presence of a triple photo module on the back, while a punch located in the center of the screen will accommodate the selfie camera. JBL speakers and at least two smartphone models are also expected to be found, although this has yet to be confirmed by the brand. The latter nevertheless evokes the “series” Note 11 and Redmi has become accustomed to declining its devices in different variants.

The latest rumors, reported by GSM Arena, point to a Redmi Note 11 equipped with a 120 Hz LCD screen and a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC flanked by 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Photography would be provided by a main 50-megapixel wide-angle camera at the rear and a 13-megapixel camera at the front. This configuration would opt for a 5000 mAh battery, compatible with 33 W charging.
As for the Redmi Note 11 Pro, the absence of Qualcomm chips is confirmed with the presence of a SoC Dimensity 920 signed MediaTek. It would be supported by 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 to 256 GB of storage, as well as a 120 Hz OLED panel. Another notable difference, the photo part would revolve around a main sensor of 108 megapixels with large- angle. At the front, a 16-megapixel sensor would take place in the punch. Finally, the charge would be faster with the probable presence of a 67 W adapter to accompany the 5000 mAh battery. As with the Xiaomi 11T Pro, compatibility with fast charging at 120 W is mentioned, but it still seems unlikely in this range.
A Redmi watch to support smartphones
In addition to its new smartphones, Xiaomi would have a new connected watch in its boxes. The Redmi Watch 2 should see the time, but no information has been leaked regarding this model. It would succeed the Redmi Watch which has never officially put down its suitcases in France, unlike the Xiaomi Mi Watch and Mi Watch Lite watches.
